SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Four fires were intentionally set over a two-hour span in the City Heights area early Friday, authorities said.

The arson spree began shortly after 2:30 a.m. in the 5100 block of Wightman Street with debris in the back of a pickup being set on fire, according to San Diego fire-rescue spokesman Lee Swanson.

About 45 minutes later, trash on the side of a house in the 3600 block of Knoxie Street was set on fire and 40 minutes after that, a window screen in the 3700 block of Shiloh Road was set ablaze, Swanson said in a statement.

The spree ended around 4:40 a.m. with fire being set to a trash can at Wightman and Shiloh Road, Swanson said.

No injuries were reported and damage was minor, he said.
