Meals on Wheels needs your support

March is "March for Meals" month!

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - The month of March, which is annually known as March For Meals, mobilizes hundreds of local Meals on Wheels programs across the USA and here in San Diego to reach out to their communities and build the support that will sustain them all year long for donations and volunteers!

The annual month-long campaign raises awareness of the need within the community to help local seniors. If elected officials and local notable community leaders and celebrities can ban together on one day (March 18) to volunteer, it might inspire other San Diegans to get engaged and support the mission of Meals-on-Wheels Greater San Diego and help local seniors. Again, it is a month long endeavor and there are many ways San Diegans can support the work of this great non-profit.
