OCEANSIDE (CBS 8) - Big waves have been pounding the San Diego shoreline, creating a lot of potential dangers for people hitting the water.
Harbor police officials say things are much calmer Monday compared to Sunday's conditions.
The waves breaking over the jetty at Oceanside Harbor are about half the size of what they were 24 hours ago. The large waves have been coming in from a south swell.
On Sunday, they caused some problems for boaters. In one instance, a boat capsized, sending two of its seven passengers into the water.
While there aren't any restrictions on Monday, there is still a small craft advisory in effect.
