SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Hundreds of women spent their Saturday morning at the University of San Diego where they auditioned for a chance to become one of the Chargers Girls.
Choreographers first taught the dancers a routine and they then had to perform it in front of judges. Participants say the auditioning process was competitive but very fun.
More than 200 girls originally auditioned for a spot on the cheer team and about 70% of them made it to the second round interviews which are scheduled for next week.
