SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Lorena Bauer has hit more home runs than any player in Aztecs history.
Bauer credits her hitting prowess to technique, repetition and her dad.
"I have to give credit to my dad. Growing up he made me play with bigger kids and swing the biggest bat. I think that's what I owe it to," says Lorena.
Lorena is enjoying a fine senior season after missing all of last year while rehabilitating from a broken and dislocated elbow.
She suffered the injury while taking grounders. After 6 months of rehab, she needed surgery for a dead nerve.
