SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - The Carlsbad Sheraton Resort held a free Mother's Day brunch Sunday morning for military moms and the spouses of wounded veterans.
Attendees say events like this give the military spouses a chance to socialize with each other and make new friends.
The hotel also offered a kids area so that children could play in a fun and safe environment while their mothers enjoyed mimosas and chatted.
