Mid City Police station damaged by vandals

San Diego's Mid City Police Station was vandalized Saturday morning with thrown rocks, which broke building windows and the windows of private vehicles owned by police officers.

SAN DIEGO (CNS) - San Diego's Mid City Police Station was vandalized Saturday morning with thrown rocks, which broke building windows and the windows of private vehicles owned by police officers.

The building, at 4310 Landis St., was damaged at 3:20 a.m. as rocks broke the front windows of the lobby and community center. Four personal vehicles were also damaged.

This was the second vandalism of the station in the past week, police said. There was no immediate word information on the suspect/suspects.

In response to the attacks, Mid City Command Staff and community members organized a press conference at 11:30 a.m. in front of substation.
