Four brothers looking to find one forever family

Posted: Updated:

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Since most foster families don't have the space to take in four boys, the brothers you're about to meet have been split up while in foster care and it's tearing them apart. And, these brothers want nothing more than to live under one roof again with a forever family.

They are four brothers who get excited just to see each other. Twelve-year-old Armondo, 10-year-old Daniel, nine-year-old Jesus and six-year-old David are living apart, and their visits are few and far between.

“Right now they're placed two and two, with the two older kiddos together and the two younger ones together and they really want to be together,” said protective services worker, Kelly Rollins. “It's hard to find a home that's open to adding four new members of the family instantaneously, but that's their biggest hope is that they can reunify and be all four together.”

It's something they dream about.

“These boys need a home that has a lot of energy, a lot of structure, a lot of love and patience,” added Rollins. “The boys have experienced some situations that aren't so pleasant for kiddos their age.”

“It's difficult to see them trying to process what they've experienced but they do have a very good outlook and a very good attitude about life,” continued Rollins.

And while they wait for a forever family to call their own, Armondo, Daniel, Jesus and David know that at least, they have each other.

“They have each other, and they always have so much fun. They have some bickering and then they have so much fun and they clearly love each other,” said Rollins.
