Cell phone video captured by a resident in a trailer park off Alvarado Road Sunday shows torrents of water rushing past, carrying chairs and barbecues along with it.

Michael Talton lives in the park. He arrived home Sunday with his family only to see emergency crews, not knowing what had happened, blocking off the park and telling him he couldn't enter.

"So my family and I walked and then I saw debris in the road," says Michael.

A drain had clogged in the area due to the heavy downpour. Water and debris came dangerously close to the nearby Bob Tally Chevrolet. Fortunately, none of the new cars were seriously damaged, however, that wasn't the case for everyone.

The Alvarado Creek spilled over during the storm, turning a local business park into an island, making it difficult for drivers to get their vehicles out.

Dupree Najero attempted to drive his truck out of the parking lot, but his car stalled due to debris and dirt clogging his engine.
