SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Hoping to discourage young drivers from drinking and driving, the San Diego police department will launch a series of teen driving safety courses over the weekend.
It's called the SDPD Teen Alcohol Awareness Program.
The idea is to get teens and parents together once a month and educate them about the risks and costs of driving drunk.
The first session will begin Saturday night at 9:00 p.m. at the SDPD Traffic Division on Aero Drive.
