SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - The man who designed the look of the San Diego-Coronado Bay Bridge has died.

Robert Mosher died of natural causes in La Jolla Sunday.

He worked with bridge engineers to create its iconic curve, which was needed to make the bridge high enough for navy ships to safely sail under.

He also designed additions to the San Diego Museum of Art and the Museum of Contemporary Art in La Jolla.

He was 94 years old.
