LEMON GROVE (CNS) - A 26-year-old man was stabbed at a Lemon Grove bar early Monday, and his alleged attacker was arrested as he attempted to flee.
Patrons at the Copa Cabana Bar & Grill on Broadway near Lemon Grove Avenue witnessed the assault and pointed out the suspect, 44-year-old Michael Bruno, to arriving sheriff's deputies around 2:45 a.m., sheriff's Sgt. David Toner said.
The victim was treated at a hospital for non-life-threatening stab wounds to his shoulder, elbow and abdomen, Toner said.
A motive for the attack was not immediately disclosed.
