PACIFIC BEACH (CBS 8) - A close call for a man crossing the street in Pacific Beach.
Witnesses say he was struck by a woman driving a blue car, after running across the street at Garnet Avenue and Dawes Street.
It happened at about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.
He only suffered a minor injury to his elbow, despite hitting the windshield of the car, police said.
According to witnesses, the driver was not under the influence and was not at fault.
