Police seek suspects in attempted robbery in Mira Mesa

MIRA MESA (CNS) - A man was stabbed as he and his female companion withdrew money from an ATM in Mira Mesa Sunday morning. 
   
San Diego police said the attempted robbery was near the Market Center, in the 9400 block of Mira Mesa Boulevard, at 4:31 a.m.
   
The woman saw the two masked suspects headed towards them and she locked herself in her car. Once she entered the vehicle, a struggle ensued between the suspects and the man.
   
According to police, he was stabbed in the leg and the suspects fled the scene.
   
The victim's wounds were minor and no money was stolen from him.
   
Police described the suspects only as two armed men, one black and the other white.
