SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Police are investigating two ATM thefts in the South Bay Tuesday.

Both thefts happened at businesses in the same strip mall in the 3400 block of Palm Avenue around 3:30 a.m., according to San Diego police.

Police say a group of men in a pickup truck tore the ATMs out of a CVS and a Check Cashing Place store. They threw a rock through the glass, put a chain around the ATMs and dragged them out.

The burglars also took a cash machine from a nearby payday loan business, police said.

Police said the suspects were only described as four or five males wearing dark clothing.

Investigators have reviewed surveillance video of the incident.
