"We are very grateful for the verdict," said Killgore's mother.

It's been three years since Michelle Wrest's 22-year-old daughter Brittany Killgore was brutally tortured and murdered. She says she feels relieved knowing the three people responsible for kidnapping, torturing and killing Brittany will be spending life in prison.

"Our daughter was a beautiful young woman, inside and out," Killgore's mother said. "And unfortunately, she ran across people that were not good ... were monsters, and took her life. She is going to be missed for the rest of our lives."

It was an emotional and complicated case, involving graphic testimony from witnesses involved in the bondage, sadism and masochism lifestyle, describing sexual escapades involving torture and blood.

"I want to thank the District Attorney's office," said Killgore's mother.

Wrest expressed her thanks to the prosecutors, the lead detective in the case and the jurors.

"From our family, we have a great respect for these people who have done a fantastic job and have done a fantastic service to our daughter," said Killgore's mother. “She is going to be missed for the rest of our lives.”

Sentencing has been set for November 19. All three of the convicted murderers are expected to be sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
