San Diego gas prices continue to fall

SAN DIEGO (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County dropped Monday to its lowest amount since Feb. 19, decreasing four-tenths of a cent to $2.89.

The average price has dropped 71 of the past 73 days, decreasing 92 cents, including six-tenths of a cent on Sunday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 5 cents less than one week ago, 18 cents lower than one month ago and 53 cents below what it was a year ago.
