Pedestrian badly hurt, after being struck by car

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A man is fighting for his life, after being hit by a car in Bay Terraces.

It happened Tuesday night at Paradise Valley Road and Deep Dell Road.

Police say the unidentified man walked northbound against a red light, when he was hit by a car in the crosswalk.

The driver stayed at the scene.

No word if any charges will be filed.

    A federal judge in California ruled Thursday that a twin son of a gay married couple has been an American citizen since birth, handing a defeat to the U.S. government, which had only granted the status to his brother.
