SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - An El Cajon woman who was caught on camera taking more than her fair share of Halloween candy now says she donated it to homeless children.

Trisha Farrell posted a photo on Facebook of a receipt from San Diego Youth Services for the donation of a bucket of candy bars worth $25.
A surveillance camera captured her taking the candy from outside a Serra Mesa home on Halloween.
Social media erupted after the video went viral. The video now has nearly 4 million views.
