TIERRASANTA (CNS) - One suspect was in jail as police search for a second suspect following the discovery Sunday morning of an abandoned flatbed truck carrying a recently stolen ATM, in Tierrasanta, authorities said.
The cash machine had been removed from its moorings at the Chase Bank in the 10000 block of Tierrasanta Boulevard. Police received a call reporting the theft about 5:50 a.m.
The stolen ATM was found on the truck between 8:30 and 9 a.m. on Portobelo Drive, next to the Route 52 Freeway and east of Santo Road.
