SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Dozens of San Diegans danced around the Hall Of Champions Saturday evening as part of a birthday celebration for the so-called "Mother of Balboa Park" Kate Sessions Park.
CBS News 8's Dan Cohen emceed the 158th birthday party, which featured free food, dance contests and costumes from the early 1900s.
Sessions is the founder of the San Diego Floral Association and played a prominent role in the development of the park.
