Sanders, 32, was arrested later that same night after barricading herself in a Pacific Beach apartment in the 3900 block of Ingraham Street. She claimed to be Smith's wife after her arrest, but the relation between the two is unclear at this point. Police say Timothy Smith was a fugitive wanted for felonies in Missouri and was considered armed and dangerous.
