Trio of brothers in need of a forever family

Posted: Updated:

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A trio of brothers is hoping to find a forever family. Angel, Jessie and Andy are so well behaved and are really good listeners, but the challenge is simply finding a home willing to take in three boys who are in the eight, fifth and second grades.

The three brothers, ages 13, 7 and 10, would make an instant family with parents who could sit back on the sidelines and enjoy all the fun.

“They love soccer, baseball, football, basketball, pretty much all sports. They're very active, they love playing,” said protective services worker, Kimberley Hirschi.

All three, full of smiles and laughter, as they showed off their speed, skills, fancy footwork and brotherly love.

When Andy slipped and fell to the ground, his big brother Angel was right there by his side, to offer him a hand, and help him back up.

“He's very protective of them, he watches out for them. They play together. I've never heard them squabble or argue. They're really close to each other,” said Hirschi.

The brothers are living with a foster family right now, but what they deserve is a forever home.

“We need to get the boys in a home where they have a sense of permanency, where they know the home will always be there for them, and their parents will always be there for them,” Hirschi explained.

Angel, Andy and Jessie have ridden some rough waves in their young lives, but these bilingual boys are well-adjusted and polite.

They share a special bond. The one constant in their lives has been each other. Angel, who's in the eighth grade, just started playing the guitar at school and it would be ideal if he could make the transition to high school, in a new home.

“We'd really like someone to come forward now and having this family, having these boys be part of their family,” Hirschi continued.

In the meantime, Angel and Andy are good role models for Jessie and for his eighth birthday Jessie's wish is that he and his brothers find stability and support only a forever family can give.

“They're good listeners, they do what they're told, they're just eager to please and they're just a joy to be around,” said Hirschi. “They're the type of kids that are just great. Someone would have a lot of fun having these boys in their family.”
