SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - It's an event that brings families together in the stands and on the court.
The 43nd annual U.S. Tennis Association National Hard Court Championship started Monday at the La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club. The event is November 30 through December 6.
Competition is slated for men and women in singles, doubles and mixed doubles in the National 40 and Over events. There will also be a USTA National Father & Son and Grandfather & Grandson Hard Court Doubles Championships.
