(CNN) - The countdown is on as Star Wars: The Force Awakens is set to premier in about a week. To go along with promoting the event (hype?), we wondered what it was like donning the costume for the iconic movie franchise. Ralph Morse was a stormtrooper in Star Wars episodes V (The Empire Strikes Back) and IV (Return of the Jedi) and reveals how it was putting on the emblematic white armor and all of the complications related to the one-size-fits-all constricting costume.
Ralph Morse recounts, "I got a call from an agent who wanted me to audition for a new film called 'The Empire Strikes Back.' That was how I become a Stormtrooper."
Morse was in the 'Get my shuttle ready' sequence of the movie and was the Stormtrooper who accompanied Darth Vader in Cloud Nine.
