SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A trash truck and a SUV collided on the transition road from eastbound State Route 52 to southbound Interstate 805 Friday morning, according to the CHP.
The accident happened around 8:00 a.m. and the ramp from SR-52 to I-805 in Clairemont was temporarily shut down while crews cleared away the wreckage.
One person was taken to a hospital, a San Diego Fire-Rescue Department dispatcher said.
The transition road was reopened shortly after 8:30 a.m., according to the CHP said.
