SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Local, state and federal government offices will be closed Friday for the New Year's holiday.
In the city of San Diego, that includes administrative offices, libraries, recreation centers, city-run pools, the Mission Trails Regional Park Visitors Center, Tecolote Nature Center, Chollas Lake and the Miramar Landfill.
Curbside trash collection will be delayed by one day.
Municipal golf courses will be open, but the Balboa Park and Torrey Pines links will shut down at 3 p.m.
County of San Diego offices, libraries and animal shelters will be closed, as will the community and teen centers in Fallbrook, Lakeside and Spring Valley. County-operated campgrounds and parks will be open, but the parks will not have vehicle or restroom access.
The Metropolitan Transit System said a Sunday schedule will be in place for trolleys, urban bus routes and some rapid bus routes.
