Major traffic delays after crash on I-15 in Miramar

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Traffic lanes are no longer blocked by an accident that caused major delays Thursday morning on the northbound I-15 near Miramar Road.

The crash happened just after 7 a.m. Emergency crews were on the scene most of the morning.

Traffic was backed up for miles.

There's no word on injuries at this time.

    Two giant pandas are headed back to China in April, according the San Diego Zoo.

     

    Two giant pandas are headed back to China in April, according the San Diego Zoo. The San Diego Zoo developed an agreement with China in 1996 to house two adult pandas and their offspring. The extensions to that original agreement have expired and 27-year-old female giant panda Bai Yun and her son, six-year-old Xiao Liwu  will be leaving San Diego in April.
