Dancers' lawsuit against police moves forward

A lawsuit filed by local exotic dancers against several San Diego police officers will move forward.

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A lawsuit filed by local exotic dancers against several San Diego police officers will move forward.

The dancers claim they were held against their will during two compliance raids at the Cheetahs and Expose strip clubs.

They say some of the officers made demeaning comments and ordered them to expose body parts so they could take pictures of their tattoos.

Lawyers for the police had asked a judge to dismiss the lawsuit, saying the search was reasonable.
