(CBS News) - A 42-year-old man spent a year-and-a-half building a humanoid robot that looks strikingly like the Hollywood actress Scarlett Johansson.

Ricky Ma calls the female robot he built the "Mark 1".

The life-sized robot has hair and a facial appearance that resembles the "Avengers" actress.

According to the CBS News article, the humanoid's skin is made out of silicone and its internal structure is put together with about 70 percent 3D printed parts.

It can articulate its arms and legs and is able to turn its head and bow. It will verbally respond to a series of commands that Ma speaks into a microphone.

Ma, a product and graphic designer from Hong Kong, spent $50,000 to build the humanoid.
