HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (CBS 8) - Two surfers looking to catch some waves in Huntington Beach Tuesday caught some unbelievable footage instead as a great white shark jumped out of the water.
"I had it in my mouth. I had just pressed record and right away we saw it and both of us knew what we were seeing," surfer Drew Palumbo said.
Drew Palumbo had his GoPro rolling.
Experts say great whites are seen in the area and are likely there because of the warm El Nino water.
After the sighting, the surfers decided to switch spots for the day.
