Four accused of smashing their way into Mission Valley dispensary

A busy police scene Wednesday morning at a local business, where four robbers smashed their way in with crowbars.

SAN DIEGO (CBS8/CNS) - A break-in at a medical marijuana dispensary in Mission Valley Wednesday morning left two teens facing charges and police on the lookout for two others.

Three of the suspects used a crowbar to gain entry to the dispensary on Camino del Rio South near Interstate 15 around 2:10 a.m. while the fourth acted a lookout, San Diego police Officer Travis Easter said. It was not immediately known what, if anything, was taken.

A security guard called 911 and fired a gunshot as the suspects were attempting to flee, but it was unknown whether anyone was struck, Easter said.

Responding police officers tailed the suspects to Lindo Paseo, where they got out of the vehicle and ran, Easter said. Two were arrested shortly after on nearby College Place, but the two others got away.
