SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - All one really needs to live in San Diego is a good pair of shades, and a local sunglasses company went searching for the next great design and found it at an El Cajon elementary school.

Adam Moyer is the founder of Knockaround, a local sunglasses company that is trying to keep art in local schools.

Knockaround asked fourth and fifth graders at three local elementary schools to come up with a design for their next pair of shades.

Fifth-grader Jayden Crenshaw, 11, from Madison Elementary in El Cajon had the top design titled, "After The Storm".

"I like colorful glasses, so Jayden's design was very colorful," said Moyer.

Knockaround will be producing sunglasses based on Jayden's design and 100 percent of the proceeds from the sale of the glasses will be donated to the participating schools and ArtReach, a San Diego organization that brings more art to elementary classrooms.
