SAN DIEGO (CBS8) - An estimated 100,000 people took to the streets of Carlsbad on Sunday for the largest one-day street fair in the nation.

The 43rd annual Carlsbad Village Faire shut down 14 blocks and packed in more than 800 vendors selling a variety of items from homemade art and jewelry to delicious foods.

The Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce hosts the event twice a year. One is held in May and the other is held again in November.
