SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A young man in a hooded jacket robbed a Rolando-area supermarket banking desk Tuesday afternoon.
The thief, who appeared to be in his early 20s, handed a demand note to a U.S. Bank teller at the Vons store in the 6100 block of El Cajon Boulevard about 1:30 p.m., according to San Diego police.
The bandit fled the area on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. He was described as a roughly 6-foot-tall Latino in jeans and a black jacket, Officer Dan Lasher said.
