    By Inside Edition Staff The RSPCA came up with a rather unique way to save a tiny hamster that became trapped in a water pipe.  Jamie the hamster escaped from his cage in England, but thankfully an animal welfare officer, Alison Sparkes, came up with a creative way to save him – a tiny ladder. “Jamie was being looking after by a friend of his owner when he escaped and went down a 10 centimeter-wide [nearly 4 inches] pipe that housed the water pipes,” Sparkes said in a press release... 
    The RSPCA came up with a rather unique way to save a tiny hamster that became trapped in a water pipe.

    By Stephanie Officer Thousands of residents in upstate New York were left without electricity over the weekend — and officials say a squirrel is to blame.  Officials said the small critter was responsible for knocking out power to 12,000 homes in a Buffalo, New York, suburb on Sunday. New York State Electric and Gas said the mischievous squirrel got into their substation and knocked out three others in the process.  The outages did not last long. Power was restored by early Sunday...
