Three siblings hope to live together again one day

Posted: Updated:

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Three local siblings, ages 10, 12 and 14, are currently living apart in three separate places in the foster care system.

They would like nothing more than to live together again under one roof with one family.

Together 14-year-old Mikaial, 12-year-old Angelina, and 10-year-old Elizabeth cherish photos of their time together, though they are hopeful there's a family out there, with a big heart, willing to take them in.

CBS New 8's Marcella Lee shares their hopes and dreams.

If you are interested in adopting or becoming a foster family, please call 1-877-I-ADOPT-U.

CBS News 8 would like to thank Shane Hopkins of Shane & Lauren Photography for taking the photos featured in the above video.

On Adopt 8, we feature children who are considered "difficult to place" because they are older, or have special needs. This past year, wishes came true for several children featured on Adopt 8 who have been matched with a forever family, but many are still waiting to find a permanent home.
