EcoVivarium is a combination of an educational nonprofit and living creatures that strives to encourage learning beyond the classroom.

ESCONDIDO (CBS 8) - EcoVivarium is opening its very own Living Museum. Soon, you will be able to have a hands-on experience with the many creatures that EcoVivarium has. You will be able to learn all about the various animals and the connections that humans share with them. There are over 150 animals that have been either donated or rescued.

EcoVivarium is a combination of an educational nonprofit and living creatures that strives to encourage learning beyond the classroom. The nonprofit offers several kinds of programs and has been serving the community for over the past 10 years.

Right now, the nonprofit is having summer camps where campers can interact with the EcoVivarium's Animal Ambassador.

Also, if you are an animal lover, EcoVivarium is calling volunteers that are interested in either being an educational assistant or an animal care taker.

The Living Museum is set to open to the public the first week of August.

The address is 136 S. Juniper Street, between Grand Avenue and 2nd Street in Escondido, California.
