SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A 39-year-old man escaped with non-life threatening injuries after being stabbed in the head at least five times Sunday morning while sitting in an alley and drinking beer in the Pacific Beach community.
Two men walked up to the victim at 12:35 a.m. in the 1000 block of Grand Avenue and told him to leave. One of the suspects opened a knife and they began fighting, said San Diego police officer Robert Heims.
During the fight, the victim was stabbed at least five times in the head. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Heims said.
"The only description of the suspects was they were male and one had a hat," he said.
