ENCINITAS (CBS 8) - Despite the beach and surfing culture, Encinitas is also a place where golfers can call home. Encinitas Ranch Golf Course is one of the few courses in San Diego, located high enough that you still have a view of the Pacific. The course is also settled in Encinitas Ranch, allowing players to experience the beauty that the scenery has to offer.
Encinitas Ranch Golf Course is part of the 11 JC Golf Resorts in the San Diego Region. According to their website:

Concurring with the JC vision, the Encinitas course is open to golfers at all levels. There are five sets of tees, open fairways and bunkers that allow anyone to score. The course is forgiving for the front nine, however, after, players are faced with elevation changes which can challenge your par score.
This particular green has 6,587 yards to the course, a 127 rating and a 712 slope.
The course is complimented with a 6,000 square foot clubhouse that has a full bar and cafe. Other features include, an extended driving range, Golf Shop where you can purchase the newest equipment and apparel, Golf instruction and clinics provided by PGA & LPGA Professionals, and home of the J Golf School.
Pricing rates are fitted to the public, JC members, and local residents. The course offers public pricing at $81 during the week and $103 during the weekend.
