SAN DIEGO (CBS8/CNS) – A homicide investigation is underway after a 44-year-old man was stabbed to death outside an Encanto home after midnight Sunday.
San Diego police officers were dispatched at 12:28 a.m. to 1037 Evelyn St. on a report of a stabbing. When they arrived at the scene, they found a witness performing CPR on the victim, who had suffered stab wounds to his torso, according to San Diego police Lt. Dan Grubbs.
The victim, a Lemon Grove resident, was pronounced dead at the scene.
