SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A fire of unknown origin gutted a construction trailer on the grounds of Naval Medical Center San Diego Monday afternoon.
The non-injury blaze erupted about 1 p.m. near a multi-use building undergoing renovation at the hospital complex in the eastern reaches of Balboa Park, Navy spokesman Brian O'Rourke said.
Federal firefighters had the flames under control within about an hour.
The cause of the blaze was under investigation.
