SAN DIEGO (CBS8) - A California woman who survived a shark attack isn't letting pain or fear stop her from getting back in the water.
On Sunday, Maria Korcsmaros finished a triathlon in Mission Bay, her first since being attacked.
The 52-year-old is still recovering from the physical and emotional injuries she sustained in the attack. However, she says she put that all behind her during Sunday's race.
Korcsmaros is already eyeing her next race. She says she plans to finish an Iron Man next year to celebrate 20-years of competing in triathlons.
