TUSCON, Ariz. (CBS8) - Customs and Border Protection officers arrested a man attempting to smuggle nearly three pounds of methamphetamine inside hollowed out tortillas.
The arrest was made Friday when officers, with the help of a narcotics-detecting K-9, stopped a 62-year-old man from Nogales, Arizona carrying the stacks of drugged-packed tortilla bundles.
CBP officers seized the drugs and turned the suspect over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations.
