CHULA VISTA (CBS 8) - Chula Vista leaders and law enforcement are upset a gun lobby group has been using gun scare tactics and violent imagery on a mailer to help push push two City Council candidates.
The flier also criticizes Sheriff Bill Gore's stance on issuing a set limited amount of concealed carry permits. His policy has been backed by a federal appeals court which recently ruled people do not have a constitutional right to carry concealed weapons in public.
