SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - For the 10th straight year, the Chargers, Adopt 8, and San Diego County Adoptions teamed up for a special adoption awareness calendar.
It is the new 2017 Join the Team Calendar, featuring Chargers players and Adopt 8 kids, past and present.
To mark the 10th edition, the photo shoot this past summer included some of the success stories through the years. Kids got the chance to reunite with Philip Rivers, and former players Nick Hardwick and Jacques Cesaire.
The free calendar is designed to serve as a reminder all year about the need for adoptive families.
The calendar will be available at locations throughout San Diego County in the next couple of weeks.
If you’re interested in adopting or becoming a foster family, please call 1-877-I-ADOPT-U.

In Sunday's Adopt 8, Marcella Lee introduces us to a young boy, who shows us he's committed to achieving his goals - and he's hoping his dream of finding a forever home, comes true.
