POWAY (CBS 8) - Dozens of people gathered in Poway Saturday in support of affordable housing for veterans.
The group was rallying against a recent Poway City Council decision, which denies a plan for a 22-unit affordable housing complex for veterans.
Those in favor of the project said it would ease the transition for those returning from the battlefield.
The Poway City Council members who voted against the project cited traffic and cost as their major concerns.
With just a week to go, many people across the U.S. are buzzing about the "Great American Eclipse."
