SAN DIEGO (CBS 8/CNS) - The Brigham Young and Wyoming football teams will face off Wednesday night under the lights at Qualcomm Stadium.
Sunday the BYU Cougars and Wyoming Cowboys kicked off the annual pre-game festivities by making separate visits to the San Diego Zoo.
Both teams practiced before their zoo visit -- Brigham Young at Southwestern College in Chula Vista and Wyoming at Mesa College in Clairemont.
Brigham Young conducted a short practice session on Saturday, then met with fans at Embarcadero Marina Park for a FanFest in its first full day in the city.
The Wyoming team was greeted by bowl officials and serenaded by mariachis as they arrived at their hotel, the Marriott Marquis Marina in downtown San Diego, on Saturday, then practiced.
The teams will simultaneously visit SeaWorld on Monday and make a joint visit to the USS Midway Museum on Tuesday for the annual team luncheon.
