SAN DIEGO (NEWS 8) — The California Highway Patrol is always on the move and can't be everywhere at once.

Which is why they need reinforcements for their "volunteer dream team."

In Tuesday's Zevely Zone, Jeff visits El Cajon where seniors are wearing "community service" with a badge of honor.

Senior volunteers have to be 55 years of age or older and pass a background check.
