OCEANSIDE (NEWS 8) — A dog was rescued Tuesday after becoming stuck on a balcony in Oceanside.
The rottweiler’s owner wasn’t home when the rescue occurred around lunchtime at a complex in the 300 block of North Clementine Street in Oceanside.
Two San Diego Humane Society Humane Officers assisted Oceanside police and fire departments with the rescue.
One Humane officer reached the balcony via ladder while another was let into the unit. The two were able to leash the dog and pull her to safety.
No one was injured, and the pup is now back where she belongs, according to the SD Humane Society.
